If you want to find where garage rock and punk was born, it will necessary to hear the reprint Black monk time, first and only album of the american band Monks, out in april. The original 1966 album held songs such as "Monktime", "Boys are boys" and "Higgle-dy Piggyl-dy".
The 5 guys formed their band in Frankfurt where they get to know one another and then started to create a sound which will be a landmark to several musicians, for example, as Jon Spencer, Lenny Kaye, Yellow Biafra and Iggy Pop.
